IVAC serves as a home to VIMS, one of the world’s leading databases on new vaccine introduction. VIMS is a web-based tool designed to provide the international community with fast, accurate and secure data on the state of access to vaccines in 193 countries. VIMS has the capacity to run custom reports for research and produce country summaries to support advocacy and policy development.

Due to the sensitive nature of some of the information in VIMS, only authorized parties are given access to the system. If you have further questions or would like to learn how to obtain a user ID, please contact the VIMS team at vims@jhsph.edu.
